Alpha is an excellent way to meet new friends, explore the basis of Christianity, get your questions answered, give your faith a boost, and have dinner and a conversation about God.

Alpha is a unique "meet-you-where-you-are" course. Adults of any age or background can benefit from the relaxed atmosphere and low-pressure setting Alpha provides.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone, and people attend from all backgrounds, religions, and viewpoints. They come to investigate questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, the afterlife, the claims of Jesus and more. Some people want to get beyond religion and find a relationship with God that really changes life. Others come for the close, long-lasting friendships that are built during the Alpha course.

Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. Everyone is welcome.

When & Where?
Alpha will be held at Life Church on Tuesday evenings starting January 16th, 2018 at 6:00pm and will run for 11 weeks.

What Happens at Alpha?
Each evening begins with dinner.
There is a series of talks on topics such as:
Who is Jesus?
Why and how should I read the Bible?
Why and how do I pray?
What about the Holy Spirit?

After each talk, there is a small-group time for everyone to discuss any questions or issues they have. This gives you an opportunity to get to know each other and to learn together.
